Lawrence Killingsworth, pictured September 14, is retired and passionate about carpentry. Killingsworth sculpted this piece in the early 1970s to represent him as he was getting older with white hair and a bushy white mustache. Killingsworth dabbled in furniture and other wood projects. Now he makes fancy wooden birds in his basement carpentry shop and donates most of them.
