Margot Robbie would like birds of prey for Pirates of the Caribbean
Margot Robbie may be running her own production company, but the actress’ LuckyChap Entertainment banner is not involved with her Pirates of the Caribbean project. That’s not to say that she won’t play a major role in the development and creation of the swashbuckling spin-off, especially when Birds of prey Writer Christina Hodson is involved, but this diminishes her influence to some extent.
That being said, she is an extremely popular star with a pair of Oscar nominations to her name who was also one of the producers for the Best Picture nominee. Promising young woman and the next Netflix series Housemaid, so his personal and professional influence is arguably at an all time high.
With that in mind, then, we hear from our sources – the same ones who told us that Hayden Christensen would return in Obi wan kenobi long before that was confirmed – that Robbie would be eyeing some of them Birds of prey co-stars to trade superheroism for the Seven Seas and join her in Pirates of the Caribbean.
While no name has been mentioned yet, who wouldn’t love to see someone like Ewan McGregor as a landscape-chewing pirate, or watch Mary Elizabeth Winstead continue to prove her kicking credentials? We haven’t heard much about the movie since it was first announced, so anything and everything about Robbie’s Pirates of the Caribbean the fallout remains unresolved for the time being.
