Dawn teams up with Today Show’s Jenna Bush Hager for a children’s e-book on wildlife protection
The book is a free educational title designed to inspire a generation of wildlife heroes, the company said. Along with an engaging creative storyline, the book showcases the expertise of Dawn’s longtime wildlife partners, International Bird Rescue and The Marine Mammal Center, who rescue and rehabilitate seabirds and marine mammals daily, and work to protect wildlife populations.
“I strongly believe that knowledge equals power, which is why I’m proud to collaborate with Dawn on ‘The Wonderful World of Blue’ to inspire kids to become wildlife heroes,” Hager said. “By making wildlife education widely available, we aim to inspire small behavioral changes at home that help create a cleaner world for wildlife.”
“The Wonderful World of Blue” takes readers on an imaginative journey with a family at home, traveling through different ecosystems and wildlife habitats. Throughout the adventure, the family encounters a variety of real-world situations, inspiring kids to better understand the world they share with wildlife, identify valuable tips, and become engaged active wildlife heroes. create positive environmental change. The story and its lessons are complemented by a discussion guide and helpful tips to remind children and families that big change starts with small steps at home.
Empowering action and change at the well and shore level
For more than 40 years, Dawn has been used by experts to help clean up and care for oiled wildlife. In partnership with International Bird Rescue and The Marine Mammal Center, Dawn has helped over 150,000 seabirds and sea mammals through direct care and awareness. Earlier this year, the brand announced a set of stretch goals to build on its legacy by driving action and change at the sink and shore.
