Mike Tyson lets out roar in final training footage

Mike Tyson has revealed that he has already made up his mind to get rid of a girlfriend after she kills and boils one of his beloved birds.

Iron Mike is well known for his love of pigeons, which came from his childhood when he kept them as pets when he lived in New York.

So when his ex-partner offered to cook and eat one of the birds instead of keeping it, he was naturally against the idea.

Tyson said it was at her place so he couldn’t stop her from boiling the bird, but refused to eat it and soon after ended the relationship.

Asked about the Boomer and Cardboard radio show in the United States if he had ever eaten a pigeon he replied, “I tried. I tried.

“I was dating this young lady and she said, ‘I don’t know why you are making those damn birds fly, you should eat them.’

“She grabbed one and – and she cooked one and started eating it. And I just couldn’t do it.

“It just wasn’t the right thing to do. That’s why she’s not my wife anymore.”

This isn’t the first time Tyson has reacted badly to someone who mistreats one of his feathered friends.

In his youth, he revealed, the boxer had a fight with a bully when they provoked him by picking up one of his pigeons and killing it with his bare hands.

“The guy ripped off my pigeon’s head. It was the first thing I loved in my life, the pigeon,” Tyson explained.

“It was the first time I threw a punch. I have loved pigeons since I was nine years old. They gave me a break.

“I was fat and ugly. The kids teased me all the time. The only joy I had was the pigeons.”

And he knocked down a garbage man one day by throwing a crate containing the body of his favorite pigeon, which had just died, into a chipper.

“One morning I woke up to find that my favorite pigeon, Julius, was dead. I was devastated and I was going to use his crate as a stickball bat to pay tribute to him,” Tyson said.

“I left the crate on my front steps and went to get something and went back to the sanitation man putting the crate in the crusher.

“I rushed over to him and grabbed him near the temple with a titanic right hand! He was cold, convulsing on the floor.”
