This Lego Sesame Street set is fun to build with your kids

This corner of Sesame Street is bustling with activity with the famous crew you remember. Everyone’s there, from big to small, you have Big Bird right down to Ernie’s rubber duck. Technically, this 1,367-piece set is intended for ages 18 and up, so it’s a bit more advanced for younger children. But that’s okay – they can admire it when you’re done. The set is incredibly detailed with everything from Big Bird’s nest to an Oscar coming out of a trash can, and that’s just the exterior.

This iconic Lego set includes six minifigures and a detailed street scene right down to the trash cans, newspapers and road sign. If you grew up watching the show or have kids watching it now, this would be a great set to exhibit.

On the outside you have all the features you remember from the spectacle, the ornate lamppost and brownstone building and front porch panel. Go through the double doors into Elmo’s room where you’ll find cool pieces like a fishbowl, rocket, stuffed bunny, toy train, and stickers for other characters not included in the set.

On the second floor, you’ll see Bert and Ernie’s bedroom, complete with a large lamp, dinosaur toy, reading chair, and Ernie’s bathtub. The exterior of the building features cool details like an emergency staircase and decorated windows. Then you have a Hooper’s store in the corner with newspapers outside and a seating area with checkered tablecloth.
