Boys and Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin is looking for volunteers to fill various positions at the Healdsburg Crush Wine Tasting Fundraiser Oct. 16 in Healdsburg. Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older. Opportunities include: assisting with customer check-in and ticketing, managing the cheese and charcuterie station, refilling beverage and ice bins.

Volunteer as a fresh produce gleaner
Catholic Charities and its partner Farm to Pantry are looking for volunteer gleaners. Volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Volunteers can choose the gleaning location and the day of the week they work. An online registration sheet is sent every weekend by e-mail.

Join the Glen Oaks Ranch Year-Round Trail Team
Be part of the team that helps care for the historic Glen Oaks Ranch in Glen Ellen. Duties include cleaning and maintaining hiking trails, removing downed trees, and keeping picnic tables and signs clean. Volunteers will attend training in early spring to learn about the annual duties that will be completed under the supervision of the Sonoma Land Trust stewardship team.

Windsor wheels
Become a driver
Windsor Wheels provides free rides to Windsor-area residents aged 60 and over. This program, run by Circuit Rider Community Services, needs more volunteer drivers. A typical commute is to get to the grocery store or a doctor’s appointment, and volunteers can work as little as two hours a month.
